Many of us remember from our own youth the times when Maths ceased to make sense and became instead an alarming jumble of random figures, odd-looking hieroglyphs and alien concepts. If you know someone who feels that way about Higher Mathematics today, or could just do with running over past lessons one more time, help is at hand.
Stevenson College Edinburgh are running a Higher Maths Study Programme to help young people prepare for the exam. One-hour tutorials over six weeks will concentrate on the tricky parts many students find difficult, such as trigonometry, integration and differentiation. They are designed to complement school work.
Each tutorial group is limited to four students, and is led by fully qualified and experienced lecturers, approved under the terms of the Disclosure Scotland Act.
The tutorials take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:30pm, and start on 2 November. The cost of the course is £18 per student per session.

Now, can anyone remind me what on earth was the point of On All Our Ancient Half-Holidays?
