The 160th Brownies have just started their last term in the centenary year of guiding.
So far, they've had a great year, working on badges such as 'World Issues' and 'Healthy Heart', and winning a city-wide competition at Edinburgh Castle's take-over event.
Now they're looking forward to the rest of the calendar and academic year, and currently have some spaces available for new Brownies.
Brownies is aimed at girls between 7 and 10 years old. They meet on one evening each week (in Broughton St Mary's Parish Church, Bellevue Crescent), and play games and do crafts in groups and individually whilst working towards fun and educational badges. The girls also get involved in evenings out and residential camps.
