SPURTLE'S PAPER EDITION (ISSUE 207) – IT'S RIPPED

Submitted by Editor on

The June Spurtle is in the last stages of production and will emerge soon like a beautiful butterfly boasting a six-pack of local news, comment, history, culture, opinion and  features, all subtly spray-tanned even on the parts you can't see.

It's got politics and promises, planning news and messy new parents, jobs and exhibitions, mysterious tragedy, two kinds of cross, any number of dogs, holes, organs and a cottage update, tramworks, fashion advice, word from the court, athletics, tuneful Americans, archives, film news, and a 25th anniversary we can all celebrate. Then on page 2 ...

Och, what's the point? Read it yourself. Copies will be available shortly across Broughton and beyond in fishmongers, bicycle shops, art galleries and public libraries, eateries, drinkeries, slumperies, hair salons, newsagents, bookshops and many of those hard-to-reach little spots other brands don't satisfy.
