All the usual thrills, spills, intrigue, romance, passion and suspense but with an added twist ... STARTING EARLIER THAN USUAL (7pm), City of Edinburgh Council's Mike Penny will detail the Council's recent trial of containerised refuse solutions and seagull-proof rubbish bags.
This public meeting wil update locals on the review by subgroups, and launch the Local Community Plan, 2011–14. A start will be made on addressing the next 3 years' main priority: reducing the amount of mess on the streets.

Following on from last year's successful 'Bags of Style' event, this year Drummond CHS staff and students are looking for donations of all types of scarves to sell. On the night, there will be raffles, scarf tying demonstrations, and the Fairtrade Safari Café.
